Frustrated

Posted by me-n-da-world in daily thoughts n news

If I had a bad day, its an understatement. Ha ha. Not really but felt like it. Today I’ve got my 3rd summoned today and first by JPJ. (ya, saya boleh dengar andaketawa dari sini ). Recap, the first summoned was by DBKL for not paying my parking. Which is totally not my fault because it was my uncle’s idea to park there in the first place. I don’t just blame, its a fact. Ha ha. The second one was a speeding ticket I got here in Melaka. I was doing 103 in an 80km/hour area. Okay my fault but I was driving my dad’s Honda Accord, so it didn’t felt like 103km/hr. Alasan?? Biase..Ha ha.

But today I’m just furious getting a ticket for not wearing my seat belt. Before I go on, those who have ridden my car know by now that the seat belt on my side of the car isn’t functioning. Even if I had put them on, it would have come off a few seconds afterwards. I’m not that furious about that though. I’m damn furious that the road block done by JPJ was in a residential area. I mean its obvious that they were there just to show people that they were doing their job.

To clarify about the residential area, it was in an area where students and older/senior citizens and their family lived. What was the purpose of doing it there. They could have done it at the main road where motorcyclist U-turn at their own will, where people speed, ran red lights and many more law breaking activities that I have never once done. Ha ha.There were lots people who had put on their seat belts just for that particular road block and many others, I know, and take it back off once they passed the road block. Why aren’t these people penalize?? Its like bribing the JPJ’s without even telling them. I am pretty damn sure that they know people are doing this. Its just becoming the norm.

Back in Gombak the road blocks that were near my residential area were done by cops to search for under aged motorcyclists. That had a motive did’nt it. To stop from under age driving. Although it too weren’t that frequent to give any impact. This residential area is full of University students and those old enough or older to drive and those too young to even think of driving. If their motive were to catch under age drivers I would be completely amazed.

I don’t they should have road blocks in the first place. The only reason for a road block is to catch a criminal. If you want to catch a speeder do like what all the western movies do, have a freaking traffic officer patrolling the streets at all times! Most of our traffic officers are busy being a manual traffic light I know and that’s a good thing but what about the others who aren’t?? There should be more officers than there are traffic jams especially here in MELAKA for god sake. The only time I have seen traffic officers with their bikes are when they are accompanying or basically making way for so called “VVIP” to go through and the occasional sighting at a mamak restaurant tapau-ing their meal.

I believe that traffic officers have only three shifts, morning working day jams, evening working day jams and OPS I tak bersikap campaigns. Where are they during KL’s shopping jams on weekends?? Im just frustrated with the unrational strategic attack on our traffic situation here in Malaysia. I will pay my summoned, eventually, but for every bad theres a good. I just hope it will come early. Ha ha.

P/s: to those who give a damn, I’ve saved my post on the films I saw as many times as the number of words in the post. I procrastinate. You should know better. Ha ha!
